Axis Health System (formerly The Center for Mental Health)
Axis provides a wide array of mental health and substance abuse treatments, including medication management.

If you’re having trouble affording therapy, CB State of Mind can provide a scholarship to cover the cost.
CB State of Mind also runs stigma reduction campaigns and provides information on therapists in the Crested Butte area.
San Miguel Behavioral Health Fund
This fund offers financial scholarships to help those living and/or working in San Miguel County afford mental health counseling/therapy services.
San Miguel Resource Center’s Therapy Assistance Fund for survivors and witnesses of violence
The I Matter program provides Colorado youth (ages 18 or younger or 21 or younger if receiving special education services) with a limited number of free counseling sessions.

NAMI Connection Recovery is a free, peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition.
NAMI Boulder County (info@namibouldercounty.org) hosts weekly virtual sessions on Tuesdays.
NAMI Arapahoe and Douglas Counties (outreach@namiadco.org) hosts monthly virtual sessions.
NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition.
NAMI hosts Family Support Group sessions in Montrose and virtually.
Heartbeat Grand Junction hosts in-person support groups for those who have lost loved ones to suicide.
Welcome Home Alliance for Veterans - Weekly Veteran’s Coffee Thursday 8:00-10:00 a.m. in Montrose
San Miguel Resource Center’s support group for current and past victims of domestic violence. Contact Nicole at 970-428-2275 or westend@smrcco.org to join.
NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others, and friends of people with mental health conditions. It is a designated evidence-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition.
